Jim Moshovelis
Jim Moshovelis is the Director of Scientific & Regulatory Solutions. Jim has over 30 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries with a strong background in regulatory and government affairs, stakeholder engagement, product development and quality assurance.
Jim has over 20 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical industry where he held a number of senior roles including Regulatory Director at Valeant Pharmaceuticals and Quality Assurance Manager at Novartis Pharmaceuticals. His pharmaceutical experience includes prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines and complimentary medicines in the areas of regulatory and government affairs, medical information, quality assurance and new product development. He was an active member of the Australian Self-Medication Industry Technical Committee for a number of years and on several sub-committees including regulatory affairs and complementary medicines.

Jim’s experience with food and beverage include Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Manager for Coca-Cola South Pacific, where his responsibilities included provision of scientific support to research and innovation, commercialization and marketing, and provision of all government policies related to food law, labelling and packaging. He ensured that all health claims could be substantiated and were evidence based. Jim was the Chair of the Technical Committee of Australian Beverages Council; and also an active member of the Health, Nutrition & Scientific Affairs Committee of the Australian Food & Grocery Council.

Jim has a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmaceutical Studies, both from University of Queensland and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. He is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) and the Australian Insitute of Food Science & Technoclogy (AIFST).
